Notes: I originally thought this was a weed, but as they seem to be growing in the gardens near by also, i'm assuming it's not. The hoverflies seem to like it.

Notes: This evergreen will have to be moved, I'm not sure if this is possible even though the conifer is still quite small (approximately 3ft), but it is in the wrong place and i don't want it to become a fully grown conifer that blocks out the light.

Notes: Since taking this photograph, this plant has moved on to plant heaven. We had brought it to the new house from the house we used to live in and it had always looked pretty sorry for itself. Unfortunately it didn't survive the weather we had in early July while we were away and died.

Notes: I have no idea what this tree is, and unfortunately the only life in it are the birds sitting in the branches. There hasn't been any leaves, blossom or buds on the tree since we moved in and there are always bits of branch falling off, so unfortunately, this poor fellow's days are numbered.

Notes: Finding this rose was a surprise, i appeared one day inbetween some St. John's Wort. It didn't flower for very long, and there was only the single bloom, but hopefully with some TLC it will produce more blooms next year.

Notes: This was cut back significantly earlier in the year as it was top heavy, and tangled up with a number of other plants. It has grown back and is producing lots of flowers.

Notes: The raspberry bush is tangled up with a number of there plants including a, honeysuckle, forsythia, hedgehog rose, so it was quite difficult to get to. The bush only produced a few raspberries, but the few that i managed to salvage were lovely. I will have to plan my next move when rescuing this plant very carefully.

Notes: This rose (or maybe rosa) bush grows just outside the patio doors and when in flower it is fully of pale yellow roses which have the most amazing fragrance. In the winter the smaller birds love it and fly in and out of it continuously.

Notes: This is a tiny plant that i found in the back garden hidden by bigger plants. It is a self rooting plant, which i put into a pot. I think it is a persicaria, but this could be wrong. The flower eventually turned pink.

Notes: This is growing in the ally way that runs down the side ofthe house, so last year i cut it right back, and this year it has grown back even bigger. Really i need to move it, but it is growing up through a tiny gap in some slabs, and it is so pretty i am worried i will kill it!
